Imagine you are selecting over 25 different CPU modes.. then u shoot half way got one voice say..
"Pls reconsider this option, because it is not suitable for your environment"
Will you be pissed?
and also, what if all those advance gadget spoils how leh. no more 25 profile to use. Just a SAR 21 / m4 / ak with a nade launcher and maybe a 3x zoom enough liao la.

Pass on the costs to full-fare paying passengers? then the middle class will suffer; esp those who do not qualify for transport vouchers but earn little salaries which i believe form a large bulk of the population.
or how about impose additional taxes on car owners and these collections be channeled to absorb public transport concessions, keep fares low and affordable, improve our public transport system?
like that isn't it LPPL? cos lets say your parents pay for your consession, then tax them from that area, isnt that in-directly burdening them as well?
And then, if lets say you nvr take from them, in the future you own a car.. govt tax you for the same reason.. Will you be happy?

I think the problem is that some road users they dont have tolerance for other road users... Its like the case of "You can say people, but when people say you, you get angry" this kinda thing you know?
Well, what the least we all here can do is that, when some kind souls give way to you, take the time to raise your hand and express your sense of gratitude. And when people say thanks to you, pass it on. Do a good deed on the road and save all the road rage incidents to the minimal.
and if you are crawling at the expressway, and people behind you is like drafting you already, give way you might not know his mother is having a stroke, and in need of medical attention.
And also from what I have observed when I just came back from Msia for holiday, is that even though they ignore traffic rules in the city, but when they are travelling on toll [the NS highway] I'm quite surprised to see many Msian drivers are actually very considerate and nice. They keep left after overtaking, and let faster vehicles overtake.
Kinda surprised by their driving ettiquite [pardon me for spelling]. So Msians can do it, why can't we?

dont you all think they shld focus more on the Mas selamat escaping issue first than this?
sometimes i wonder arh.. does SG government prioritise their stuff properly, like they can even let a limping guy escape... but yet they still so harsh on minor stuff like contraband ciggs and stuff..
shouldnt they focus more on terrorism first? contraband ciggs cant kill.... but a angry and mad mas selamat WILL KILL AND HURT ppl

first things first. If you know that you will have problems buying a laptop, why go buy one just because you think that its going to be lao qwee?
I mean whats wrong with using a laptop that is loaned from school?
I seen many people doing that. If you keep looking at yourself in that direction you are not going to do well. at the end of the day you have only yourself to blame. Dont blame your parents for being poor and stuff, you shld be happy they didnt ditch you in a rubbish dump when giving birth to you.
look on the +ve side. there are people much worst than you.

JC poly or whatever, you will tend to meet different kind of mofos...
Regardless you like it or not, but lets look on the brighter side, you meet this kind of people you will have an experience on how to handle them when they try to cut you on the slack side on the project or assignment given..
Lecturers some are really ass holes, but they are also like your superior whom you can't afford to offend, so basically poly is like another "job training" for young people like us.
therefore i think going into poly is not really a bad choice at all. Its only dependant on how you look at it. You'll meet some very close friends and you will meet those really you-feel-like-killing-them-friends...
So yeah. I would think that its sort of like... a step ahead for us compared to the JC students. Because most.. [
yeap my 2 cents. no flaming. hahah....
afterall, I'm a kid from poly too.
